Dancer - Grossmont College Touring Dance Ensemble Company, East County San Diego - 2025
*Toured junior and high schools with a 20-minute performance weaving together genres such as Modern, Contemporary and Swing Jazz, Ballet, and Hip Hop. Each show was an invitation- to connect, to feel, and to move. Dancing for my own inner child, offering the kind of encouragement and inspiration I once needed. Our shared mission is to ignite creativity, plant the seeds of self-expression, and show that dance is a space where everyone belongs.
Dancer - Rubans Rouges Dance Company, 2009 - 2012
*I had the honor of performing with Rubans Rouges Dance Company under the direction of Noelle Rose Andressen, a visionary artist and survivor who used dance as a medium for healing and advocacy. The company celebrated diversity, inclusion, and storytelling through movement. This experience revealed dance as a heartfelt source of resilience and healing
Dancer - Danceaholics Dance team, Los Angeles, 2010 - 2012
*Under the passionate direction of Monica Fleming, I danced with the Danceaholics - a high- energy performance team dedicated to spreading joy through movement. We brought spirited, crowd-pleasing group collaborated choreography to community events, parades, and showcases. The experience deepened my love for performance, teamwork, and the vibrant connection between dance and celebration.
Summer Dance Teacher - Chabad of West Hills, Aug 2010 - 2012
*I had the joy of teaching dance to children ages 5 to 12 during a summer program at Chabad of West Hills. Each day included warm-ups, ice breakers, and group choreography, building teamwork and confidence. Together, we created and they performed a Beatles-themed show titled “Love” for their families - an uplifting moment cherished by kids, parents, and myself alike.
Dancer - Ballet Haute Jazz, Los Angeles, 2011
*It was a pleasure performing with Haute Jazz, a dynamic ensemble choreographed and led by the amazing and gorgeous Sabrina Hayden (Moiseyev). Our group delivered vibrant and entertaining performances at various events, including the 2011 New Years show in San Francisco. We entertained at holiday celebrations, weddings, and festivals. Each piece showcased our collective energy and the creative vision of Sabrina, making every performance a memorable experience. It was an unforgettable chapter filled with pure joy
Supernumerary - “CARMEN" - Los Angeles Opera - 2012
*Performing in “Carmen” at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion with the Los Angeles Opera was a thrilling chapter in my journey. As a supernumerary, I embodied multiple roles - smuggler, butcher, solider, and my favorite, the picador. I especially loved the ornate, dazzling costume (not the bullfighting!) Sharing the stage with world-class opera singers, under the direction of Placido Domingo, was an unforgettable experience. Their voices literally vibrated the stage, and the production sparkled with artistry, camaraderie, and theatrical magic.
Dancer - Fanatix Dance Company, 2008
*I had the privilege performing with the Fanatix Dance Company, a vibrant and talented collective, dedicated to P.O.C, LGBTQIA+, and transgender advocacy through movement. Our performances graced iconic venues like “Heaven” at Tigerheat, Club Rage, The Abbey, and at Carnivale, the renowned dance showcase where professional dancers perform and choreograph. It was my first time dancing with a company, learning choreography, and keeping pace with seasoned performers. Though challenging, this experience built a strong foundation in technique and discipline. More than just dance, it was about creating inclusive spaces where everyone could feel seen and celebrated.
Dance Instructor - YMCA - Los Angeles - 2005
*I led weekly dance classes for children ages 5 to 10, creating warmups, phrases, and engaging lesson plans across multiple genres and cultures. Beyond the studio, I supported the kids throughout the day - helping with snack time, crafts, homework, play, and rest. It was a full time role that blended structure, creativity, and care, and deepened my passion for nurturing young dancers.

Over the years, I have had the honor of studying under visionary chorographers and educators who shaped my foundation and ignited my growth as a dancer.
Gina Sorenson - Grossmont Touring Ensemble, Grossmont College (2025)
Gina Bolles Sorenson is a multifaceted dance artist and educator whose mastery of ballet, jazz, modern and contemporary dance is matched by her gift for teaching. At Grossmont College she played a pivotal role in directing and curating our touring ensemble show, where I had the opportunity to perform in her evocative modern choreography. Her thoughtful dedication deepened my artistry. Gina’s teaching invites dancers to peel back their layers and discover not just how they move-but why. Gina’s teaching, influenced by her SubtleBodyBigDance method, brought texture, nuance, and emotional truth into every step. I learned to explore softness, explosiveness, and stillness with intention, ultimately shaping how I show up as a dancer - with mindfulness, presence, and purpose. Her innovative approach to dance education has been recognized with accolades such as the Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Dance Production Awards at the San Diego International Fringe Festival, as well as a National Artist teacher Fellowship from the Boston Arts Academy Center for Arts in Education.
Lesa M. Green - Jazz Technique, Grossmont College (2023-2025)
With a background professional concert dance, musical theatre, and education, Lesa blends classical, contemporary, and commercial jazz into a powerful and expressive style. Her mixed technique challenged me to grow in precision and artistry, while her supportive teaching helped me move with more freedom, confidence, and joy. Her signature Mix technique dash a blender valet basics, Horton Modern, yoga, and boot camp elements- which challenges dancers to explore strength and fluidity. Participating in her choreographed experimental jazz piece. “La Fin” in The Grossmont College Spring Show 2025 was transformative. Lesa’s choreography challenged me to push my boundaries and deepen my technical skills and tricks, enriching my growth as a dancer.
Carla Lubow - Jazz, Modern, Choreography, Los Angeles Valley College (2009-2014)
Carla was my very first dance professor and beloved part of my dance fam. She nurtured self-expression through movement and created a supportive space where everyone’s voice mattered. Carla encouraged positive critiques and invited us to choreograph sections of her work, making inclusion and authenticity central to her teaching. At LAVC from 2010-2014, she taught me modern, jazz, musical theatre, and choreography. Whether I was performing in Cabaret or shaping my own work in her class, or participating in the High School Day of Dance she helped lead, I always felt part of something welcoming and meaningful. I felt seen and supported-Part of a dance family that moved with meaning.
